🇮🇳 Indian Man Arrested In $144M Crypto Extortion Case Shailesh Babulal Bhatt was arrested by India’s Enforcement Directorate in connection with a massive crypto extortion case. Bhatt, a Bitconnect investor, kidnapped and extorted over 2,091 Bitcoins and 11,000 Litecoins from associates of Bitconnect promoter Satish Kumbhani. The extorted assets are valued at Rs 1,232.50 crore ($144 million).
