Did you know? January wasn't always the first month of the year! 📅 In the ancient Roman calendar, the year began in March, and January didn’t even exist! It was added later when King Numa Pompilius reformed the calendar around 700 BCE. January is named after Janus, the Roman god of doors and gates, symbolizing new beginnings and transitions. 🚪✨ Fun fact: Janus is depicted with two faces—one looking to the past and the other to the future. How fitting for the start of a new year! 🎉 What are you leaving behind in 2024, and what are you looking forward to in 2025? Let me know below! 👇 #JanuaryFacts #NewBeginnings #FunFactFriday
