What are the best web3 games out there? I don’t care about financial incentives btw, only web3 games that are fun, have great gameplay loops, a dedicated community etc.

The reason I’m asking is because I am yet to encounter a web3 game that is actually fun to play. And yes, I’ve tried several.

Describe fun to play because it’s mostly subjective. Even better question is what genre and style of games do you like or gravitate toward?

FPS is my favorite genre, however I can dabble in most genres. So far I've tried impostors, phantom galaxies, shrapnel, animalia, decentraland, mine runner (netvrk), pixels, axie, the sandbox, defi kingdoms and probably a few more I cant remember.

Would love to hear other suggestions, especially in the FPS genre (however shrapnel is probably the best web3 FPS game currently)

From my experience none of the games I’ve played feel good to play. Movement is typically wonky, guns have very weird mechanics (too much bloom, recoil, etc), and the maps feel bland and empty. 

I haven’t taken the FPS genre seriously yet in web3 lol but I did encounter a list of games. I’ll find and share it.
