i went from being very into self-improvement stuff, then to thinking it was all corny slop for a few years, and now i'm back into it but through the lens of self-study. i see it now as just trying to get better at the meta-game of living, which is an infinite game

Keep it simple. Use your phone or a notebook to record observations about yourself over the course of a day. 

Example:
- The bug Farmer gets anxious when asked about his dating life. 
- The bug Farmer plays video games late into the night and goes through most days tired 
- The bug Farmer really enjoys exercise and spending time outside 

Then after a week or so look over the observations to make connections about the data.

I love the idea of a Bug Book! It must be fascinating to look back and see personal growth and patterns. Do you have any tips on how to start one?
