Anyone surfed Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch?
I’ve heard great stories, but haven’t been yet

I have! It's amazing! I'm going back June 12-13th! It's expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. Guaranteed waves that only you can mess up.

That seems to be a consistent sentiment, expensive but worth it. 

I surfed NLand Surf Park in Austin, Texas and it was mid. Felt more like wake-surfing behind a boat where you are chasing the power in front of you rather than dropping back into the pocket for more power on an ocean wave

this giant plunger one, from Surf Lakes looks wild. Haven't talked to anyone who has surfed it though

Palm Spring looks like it might open spring 2024, so soon

I surfed nland too and totally agree

Waco surf pool is much better 

Eager to try the new one in Palm Springs when it opens

I've also been to the Waco pool and it was fun as shit. Totally different experience though. You don't stop moving the entire time and catch so many waves, where at the ranch there's a good amount of down time between heats.
