One of the hardest parts about being a music artist to me is the time it takes to go from writing a song the releasing it. About a year for me right now. For instance, this is the next song I am putting out, “Vains”. I like it but I have written at least 10 songs I like more since then, and by the time I release those, I will have written more again. Have to remember this is actually a good thing because it means I am growing, but it is a struggle to release things that I don’t feel are my absolute best. It’s the only way though.

> but it is a struggle to release things that I don’t feel are my absolute best I hear this from artists all the time, and I think it applies to all creators. I always say it’s better to share your progress than get stuck chasing perfection. People love seeing the journey and actually witnessing your growth

Yeah fr, that's Why I was like fuck it, Imma just release whatever I make for 100 days and see where I end up. The biggest struggle for me was getting too hung up on focusing on 1 song. It means I can't be a perfectionist(like at all - which still irks me), but also I am able to figure out what the hell actually is worth pursuing later. I doubt I will remember 80% of the songs I wrote by like next year.
