My biggest ick living in NYC is having to listen to New Yorkers complain about their rent The variance is so high here I know friends who pay $2k for a nice 1bd in bushwick & friends who pay $5k for a williamsburg studio Choose wisely!

It 100% is I was sharing an apartment with friends in SF before this so I def feel this Still, there are friends spending $1.2k for a room in an apartment in Bedstuy. Options galore
