The proliferation of the SM7B makes the audiophile in both happy and sad. It's a great podcasting mic for a wide range of voices, but a world where there is essentially one mic being used by all podcasts is a sad world.

Sm7 and re20 are the standards. Using anything else is just for aesthetic purposes and won’t be higher quality
