I have discovered so many amazing artists on /tortoise and I want you to discover them too, so introducing...the first Tortoise Artist(tortist?) of the Week! TAOTW 1 (Tuesday May 20th, 2025): Jack Erith @thebluerush Jack Erith is a Scottish guitarist and musician based in Seattle. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Jack blends technical precision with emotional depth, crafting expressive soundscapes that reflect his unique voice. With roots in instrumental rock and a passion for sonic storytelling, his work resonates with both intensity and soul. All of Jack's song are oozing with nuance and technical prowess. Not surprising at all that he went to Berklee. The Blue Rush was one of the first songs released on Tortoise, and it was so motivating for me to hear it.
