After years of contracting for the UN, I left, thinking I can start my own design studio. The idea flopped as I didn’t consider market situation at the time, I burned through savings and ended up in debt while my son was two. Went back to contracting and it took me 5 years of hard work to get out of that shithole.

I am definitely fortunate to have awesome friends and family who supported me through this rough time people such as @pugson, where kicking my ass into gear every single day, preventing me from giving up on myself
