they actually didn’t end up checking people in so it’s hard to know, but it seemed like the turnout was pretty strong! the other lesson there tho is to do it as part of a larger event (like farcon) — so doing something around permissionless makes sense!

on the frame? unfortunately you can't change the buttons on frames after they've been posted. but I'm doing two things: - allowing you to join the waitlist even if an event is "full" (maybe the host decides to expand or let you in regardless) - the frame should say how many rsvps are remaining in the image

share pics from event? yeah this is a great question! my thought was if you reply to a cast that mentioned the event with a photo, the client should show those prominently on the event page.

haven't built a cast action yet so not sure if this is possible, but it would be great to be able to choose which kinds of casts to enable your action on. for example, I would create a bunch of actions if I could enable them *only* on casts that have an events.xyz url

for farhack we waitlisted everyone first and then personally messaged to ensure they would commit to hacking before accepting. I personally don't usually hack because of the time commitment. obv things take time to build, but for example the sf frames hackathon hosted by @deform was not bad (1 day, 10am to 4pm)
