Creating an @event is so much simpler and easier now. The #1 feedback I get is about spam, so I came up with a new feature called "auto approve". Think of it like a smart waitlist—the people you know get to sign up right away, and everyone else gets sent to a waitlist. You get full control to mix and match: - allow people you follow - people with a power badge - and/or people who own one or more NFTs. - and turn on a guest limit (if you want) Or, turn off the waitlist and let anyone sign up. This is great for dev calls, live shows and pods, amas, and more, where you don't want to have to approve anyone. It’s the single best way to “save the date” on Farcaster. Here's what it looks like

You can try out that form by updating your warpcast and clicking the new calendar icon in the composer. It'll open up the form above and let you customize your event exactly how you want! And at the end, it'll output a frame that you can share with everyone in your audience. It couldn't be simpler.

There's also a totally new mobile version of events.xyz, which is focused on showing you everything happening in the farcaster ecosystem, what people are saying about it, and what people are going to. Event pages now show shares of events on FC right on the page (stay tuned because the indexer is delayed), a list of who's going with bios, and more. And for hosts, you can easily download a CSV of fc and address details of all guests, check people in and approve waitlisted guests with a waaaay simpler guest list tool, and send DC notifications to guests.

And then finally, I've updated the branding of @event bot to feel like a helpful little robot assistant. It will send you notifications about things like: - when you're approved for an event - reminders about events (1d + start for offline, 1h + start for online) - when you check into an event, and when you get a poap - when hosts have an update (like location change, instructions to get in, etc) let me know what else would else would be helpful and I'll build it! And please please please follow that bot, because otherwise notifs will go to your request folder. I've turned off all public casting by the bot, so you'll never get spammed in your feed!
