anyone able to give ux feedback? trying to nail recurring events, but there are a lot of little edge cases. do you see any issues with this implementation? you can stack as many recurrence rules as you want and update them later. you can add one-off event sessions here as well as shift the schedule if things change.

Have you looked into tools like this one? https://icalendar.org/rrule-tool.html It can help a lot with the implementation!

I think there's potentially too much configuration going on here. I would possibly hide the duration (maybe default 1h) and the ending date (default is indefinite) underneath an advanced settings or post-creation edit flow or something.

If the times on different days are the same it might be easier to read if it says: Every Wed, Fri at 7pm for 2h Ending 10/15 Also the # of occurrences is something I use as well I like how cron / notion calendar does it

Seems logical to me. Does it have an option for example set day, like every three days? Just gone through the options on a different app to see how it works.

What happens if you stack recurring events and two of them overlap?

No clear demarcation between start and end except the words, everything feels clustered in the box, it could be arranged better imo

the "2h" is an interesting style. makes me think... "so when does it end? 7+2 = 9pm! Hmm... I guess I'll show up at 8pm then" There must be some reason that most event apps have a start and end time. Maybe it's becayse Americans say "9 to 5" or "5 to 7" or maybe it's because there are so many increments, 30m, 1h, 1h 30m, 2h, 2.5h, 3h, etc.
