RE all the @purple drama, I do think there could be more clear guidelines on mission, criteria for funding, how to propose, etc... What if we all got on a call and talked through it together? and maybe have a doc open to collab on. Once we have something we like, we make a proposal to the DAO to codify it on-chain.

AFAIK we have no regular synchronous communication... isn't that somewhat rare for a community? If there were any moment to do it even one time, this feels like it.

hey @matthew you're overcomplicating again not a personal attack, everybody does this that's why you want to have a meeting to schedule another meeting to come up with time to think of ideas to propose just do, don't overthink more people breeds complexity that can't be organized, it's chaos

if you do this, the troops will rally around you. sometimes all it takes is a champion, and you’re a hell of a good community champion to make this happen 🫑

Can’t both coexist? @purple: β€˜broad’ mission proliferate farcaster, organically builds practices/develops culture around specific criteria @purpler: explicit criteria to focus on retroactive funding

What’s stopping purple from doing retroactive funding? I think something in between is probably the best. 30% paid up front, 70% paid upon successful delivery (needs to be voted as a proposal).
