If an account has 250k followers but gets 10-15k views per tweet, is that a fair signal that they've bot (heh pun) their followers?

Would be interesting if followers were removed (publicly) and replaced by an engagement metric. It would be some function of followers, views, likes, comments, ?

5% views isn’t unusual as accounts following grow. If you want to identify inorganic follows (bots, giveaways, etc..) look at the growth in followers over time — inorganic generally have a period(s) of unusually high growth preceded and followed by plateaus of little/low growth.

not necessarily, to be honest — it's the same on telegram, people just stop reading after a time and to people who think that views can reveal bots views can also be bought

I think it depends on consistency of the views. If they consistently have low views for a lot of their then it could be a bot issue unless they are shadow banned
