Started reading The Creative Act and love it so far. It's a perfect complement to The War Of Art, which frames creativity as a daily battle to prepare for. Develop grit, sharpen your blade, etc. Whereas Rubin approaches from the transcendental, spiritual angle.

I heard him on an interview say it’s supposed to be read like the Tao te Ching You read a section and then pause and reflect. Probably not the best for an audiobook but Ioved it as a hardcover

Good to know! He did narrate it himself is part of what got me over the line, but yeah audio is best for more shallow bingeing. Like the argument on Master of None, listening is not reading.
