Most Trump supporters I’ve come across don’t even try to justify his candidacy or their support for him. They just regurgitate his fear mongering one-liners, with zero constructive thoughts of their own. It’s exhausting for ME.

I was sympathetic once. but it's too far gone. 

trump supporters are political flat-earthers, except their ideas are mean-spirited and weird (besides being irrational.) the work it takes to justify trump must be exhausting.

I hear ya. I await the day we have a candidate that I can be proud to vote for. It often feels like every 4 years, I’m just voting for the lesser of two evils.

To me it serves as a constant reminder that the Internet we're building is currently broken and in desperate need of repair. Information should be easy to filter and curate together with friends and family.

People are losing friends and family to the rage faucet designed to keep people confused and angry for the sake of selling ads. It's unconscionable how bad the state of our information economy is.
