Hopped in a taxi to head to the airport. Taxi driver was new to NY and took two wrong exits, adding 45 minutes to the drive (ended up taking 1:45 total). Arrived to the airport after my flight had started boarding. Made it through security and to the gate as they were making last boarding call. I made it! 😵‍💫

Traffic was horrendous. When there are fruit vendors walking along the cars on the highway, you know it’s bad. 

I had accepted that I was going to miss the flight, after wrong exit #2. It’s a miracle I made it.

I remember this guy took the battery tunnel and we get there to the entrance and traffic is just dead stopped - he’s getting out of the car looking around 😂😂😂 I’m like ain’t no way we making this flight
