family is fending off the flu so spent the morning baking homemade sourdough (with @greg’s starter!) and cooking avgolemone — greek lemon chicken soup this soup knocked me out of a 104 fever once and i’ve sworn by it since, even called the greek restaurant to get the recipe also bread is already gone, ty greg

My partner works in the ED and there have been a ton of people coming with flu symptoms the last couple of weeks. Stay healthy out there. Being sick during the holidays is a real bummer.

Brutal. I’ve been traveling a lot for work lately and after being stuck on planes with coughing people, it’s a miracle I’ve not gotten sick. I did get the flu shot this year, so maybe that’s helped.
