It’s crazy how growing up in the Midwest I always believed making $100k a year salary was “success.” It’s so not true anymore due to cost of living anymore. Maybe it’s middle class at best.

$100k would still go a lot farther in the Midwest than some places in the US, but yeah, definitely not as far as it once would unfortunately
