I vaguely remember hearing about it  in Spring of last year but I wasn’t trading memecoins and had read like 80%+ was held by insiders, despite being a “fair” launch

Interesting. What’s keeping hodlers from rotating into something lower MC and/or meme-ier (e.g., $gdupi or $dickbutt)? 

If I knew any $brett hodlers, I’d try to start a movement!

I've heard a few times $BRETT only got popular (and /base along with it) because it was launched and available when Solana was down for 2 weeks or whatever.

So, people pivoted from SOL to BASE because they *had* to meme trade and then went back to SOL, leaving their bags.  So that's "support"

That’s wild! I knew it was one of the premier meme coins on Base, but I don’t think I realized what that meant in terms of MC. Makes me realize how low the MC of these Clankers truly is. Could be bearish (not interest) or bullish (lots of room to run), depending on how you read it!
