I’ve received 4 similar spam texts in the last couple of hours and many more in the past month (usually claiming to be from “Coinbase”). 

Which hack(s) do I have to thank for this? 😒

I haven’t gotten any voicemails 😳 That’s sort of creepy! It does seem like the volume of texts has been cranked up over the last few months though.

Getting pummeled with these and all other sorts lately (SMS/phone/voicemail/email). It’s tiring!

Super annoying. I remembering feeling an initial sense of panic when I got my first one many months ago before coming to my senses and remembering that this space is wrought with these sort of phishing scams. Now I just delete them without even thinking. Unfortunately many people react too quickly and end up victims.

Following the first major ledger hack, I used to get some wild emails. Hackers demanding ransoms paid in BTC if I didn’t want all my internet transgressions exposed 😂

Many such cases. I just worry for all the people who would actually fall for this, call the number, and end up giving up their password or transferring their crypto to a scammer.

Omg my complete info is out there in random hacker data dumps I bet.

Yeah, me too. Usually like 2-3 per day. I delete and report to junk, but I can’t help but feel for the people that actually fall for these scams.
