This will be the next 3-4 months in Portland, with maybe a week of snow and ice tossed in for fun.

In Olympia we're are hoping for some good snow... It's been a few years for us

I would have thought Olympia would get snow somewhat regularly. The problem in Portland, is the city is super ill-equipped to handle snow so everything pretty much shuts down. Also, our snow is usually preceded or followed by freezing rain, so the roads turn to sheets of ice!

Same, it's water level. Yep that ice is what's dangerous.
