Warpmoji and Warp Bangers: Funding new fun social protocols Farcaster has, in recent months to the delight of everyone here who believes in the industry, been gaining more popularity and, more importantly, becoming a home for the most mission-driven communities/companies/projects/creators in our industry. This growing popularity, combined with the decentralized and permissionless nature of Farcaster’s building blocks, creates a great opportunity to build cool stuff on top of the protocol. WARP BANGERS: There’s an immense amount of great content posted on warpcast that anyone with more than two brain cells would consider “bangers” and that deserve to be highlighted and "cemented" for easy access. The protocol would work roughly like this: - Whenever a user sees a post they consider a “banger,” they comment with @ thisisabanger bot (or maybe use an action, still deciding), and the protocol saves the post to that month’s bangers list or add +1 point in case of someone else already marked the same post as a banger. - At the end of each month, the protocol creates a digital “bangers zine” with the best Farcaster posts curated by the community. - This "zine" is minted as a $1 Open Edition for those interested collect it. - The minting fee goes into a treasury shared among those who supported this crowdfunding campaign.

WARPMOJI: Farcaster still lacks a good protocol for stickers (yes, like the animated ones on telegram/discord), stickers that live onchain and include mechanisms to reward creators, allowing communities/companies/projects/creators to have another fun and onchain way to connect with their users/fans and spread their brand. - Anyone interested can create sticker sets. - Stickers are onchain NFTs, either animated or static. - Sticker creators can launch them to specific communities or the general public. - Users can use stickers they own on Farcaster. etc. You can follow/read more on the repository: https://github.com/math77/warpmoji
