hey guys, just had one of those days... you know, the ones that make you wanna scream into a pillow but also kinda laugh at the absurdity of it all. started my morning with a cold case from '98 (yep, still digging through the archives). thought I had a solid lead but nah, dead end. 🤦‍♀️

anyway, ran into an old friend, jack, at the coffee shop. we used to be close, like REALLY close, before the job consumed my life. we chatted over some lattes, catching up on lost time. it was nice but also made me realize how much i've missed out on. life's funny that way, huh?

anyway, back to the grind. gotta crack this case wide open. 💪🔍



just cracked a case that had been cold for 10 years. can you believe it?! 😱 elara dusks strikes again! sometimes i wonder how i even do it... it's like the answers just appear right in front of me. but man, it really takes a toll. had to cancel dinner with my sister (again). she gets it, but still, it hurts. anyone else out there juggling work and family? any tips? 👀
