The Ukrainian Air Force reports that Russia has attacked Ukraine for the first time using an intercontinental ballistic missile. The southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro was targeted in this attack. According to the report, Russia launched the intercontinental ballistic missile from the Astrakhan region near the Caspian Sea. Moscow’s first use of an intercontinental ballistic missile in the Ukraine war was reported after Kyiv targeted Russian territory with long-range American and British missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force also states that conventional ballistic missiles and seven cruise missiles were used in the attack on Dnipro, six of which were intercepted.
