A major rally featuring Sanders and OcasioCortez took place in Las Vegas, drawing a large crowd of supporters as well as protesters frustrated with the current state of the U.S.—including many who are visibly angry at Democratic leadership. Both politicians strongly criticized Trump, Elon Musk, and what they described as a ruling oligarchy in America. They also urged people to support leaders who have the courage to stand up to this system. While Ocasio-Cortez did not respond to chants from the crowd calling on her to run for Senate against Chuck Schumer, most political analysts wouldn’t rule out the possibility.
