The shockwave after Trump’s election, along with moves by media outlets like The Guardian and some well-known figures in culture, science, and politics, led to a big wave of users leaving the former Twitter in the days following the election. Unsurprisingly, many people’s dislike for Elon Musk and lack of interest in Zuckerberg pulled them toward Bluesky rather than Threads. For now, this seems more like an emotional, short-term reaction from most people. We’ll have to wait and see if this trend actually sticks around. Can this opportunity be seized? @dwr.eth
