Back in the 18th century, a statue was made that just doesn’t seem real when you first see it. It shows the lifeless body of Jesus right after he was taken down from the cross. But the crazy part? There’s a thin, soft-looking veil covering him and it looks exactly like real fabric. But wait that veil isn’t cloth at all. It’s actually carved from one solid piece of marble. Every little detail is made of stone, and the precision is just unbelievable. The artwork is called Cristo Velato (The Veiled Christ), and you can find it in the Sansevero Chapel in Naples, Italy
