Michigan Invests in Ethereum According to a recent SEC report, the Michigan State Retirement System (SMRS) has become the first U.S. state pension fund to invest in Ethereum-based exchange-traded funds. In total, these assets amount to over $11 million, surpassing SMRS's investment in Bitcoin ETFs, valued at $6.6 million.
