peace isn't always quiet 
it doesn't always come with an absence of noise.

you can be at peace,
but still have so much going on quietly inside you.

finding peace means loosening your grip on the need to control what's outside of you.

letting go of the illusion, that you ever had control. You have to face yourself to discover peace.

and sometimes,
the hardest person to confront is yourself.
life rarely hands us the answers, we crave.

instead it gives us moments,
that push us
break us
and somehow make us whole again.

To come full circle from an experience is to find peace with it. It's to learn how to breathe in the space you're given. Even when all the walls feel like they're closing in.

Peace is looking out your window and realizing that everything you see is a reflection of yourself.
