Had my first coffee in ~2 months yesterday. In the end, I didn’t notice any significant difference in focus. If anything felt more dull. Slept the same number of hours (7-8). I dont measure sleep quality. No changes to energy levels but not being able to skip meals with a coffee helped me realize when I need to eat. Headaches from lack of coffee are gone, but not all of them. I missed drinking nice coffees at nice shops. Many don’t have decaf or charge a premium for it which is annoying. It sucks you can’t a/b test yourself but based on this I don’t see any strong reason to continue to cut out coffee and will return at a half of my former dose with a decaf in the afternoon.
