What do you think about “pro storage”? 10k characters, 4 images, extra profile features for $10/month. The revenue would go toward supporting creator rewards. I see the logic. Supporting creators, offloading heavy content, and keeping basic usage cheap. But I have doubts about how it’ll actually affect engagement. Introducing a paywall for core creative features might split the community, turning casual users away, especially newcomers. It could even reduce overall activity if people start feeling limited. Farcaster was built on openness and simplicity. I'd hate to see that spirit lost behind a subscription.
