Jamie Coutts, senior digital asset analyst at Real Vision, said there are signs of a bottom forming in the cryptocurrency market after weeks of decline.

He said Bitcoin (BTC) has broken its historical inverse correlation with the dollar index, suggesting the cryptocurrency is becoming a safe haven asset like gold.

Coutts also predicted that the volume of derivatives transactions on blockchain will exceed $4 trillion by 2025, citing a threefold increase in the number of daily active addresses on smart contract platforms.
