An analyst who rose to fame for accurately predicting a cryptocurrency crash in 2022 has warned that Bitcoin could hit a price ceiling at any moment. The analyst, who goes by the pseudonym Capo, told his 102,828 followers on Telegram that Bitcoin could suddenly drop and lose its recent gains. “I’ve been out of the market for a few weeks now. At this point, it doesn’t matter if Bitcoin hits $98,000, $99,000 or above $100,000. A local top could happen at any moment and the move could be completely reversed,” Capo said, citing several reasons for the potential price correction, including the fact that pro-cryptocurrency US President-elect Donald Trump won’t be inaugurated until January 20. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $98,536.
