World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a company linked to Donald Trump, has increased its holdings to 80,000 Ethereum by purchasing 1,622.97 Ethereum units worth $5 million. The total value of these assets is now estimated at more than $240 million.

The purchase comes as Trump’s cryptocurrency portfolio has been volatile since the start of his second term, falling more than 60% in the past week. Trump’s official memecoin, which was launched on January 17, has also fallen more than 64% since reaching a peak on January 20.

Trump-related tokens, managed by CIC Digital and Fight Fight Fight, currently account for 80% of the memecoin’s total supply. Despite the price drop, the cryptocurrency has grown more than 28,000% since its launch, reaching a peak value of $80 billion.
