The Kalmakareh Cave Masks are ancient artifacts discovered in the Kalmakareh Cave in Lorestan, Iran. These masks date back to the first half of the first millennium BCE and are preserved in the National Museum of Iran. The golden masks or face masks obtained from the Kalmakareh Cave in Lorestan indicate that during the Achaemenid Empire era, there was a certain ritual or ceremony, probably customary national celebrations, in which these masks and golden face masks were used in those special ceremonies.
