I go away for 2 days and come home to learn I’m now a cucumber farmer. Every year the back yard garden has one crop that out shines and produces more than the others. I’ll be making cucumber salads, quick pickles, and every cocktail will have some sort of cucumber theme. What’s doing well in your garden?

Yeah, it’s wild how different seasons, different results. This year red currants are abundant, black currants struggling. Tomatoes look set for a huge year, lettuce has been struggling from difficulty germinating, to bolting

We had a good early lettuce season but it’s mostly done by now. Tomatoes are a plenty but still green on the vine. Zucchini and eggplant is doing good enough. String beans not doing as well. Enjoy yours!

Everything is late in the Pacific Northwest this year - green beans just starting to flower but looking like they will go off. Raspberries and peas peaking now. Hope you enjoy yours too!!!!!
