Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! There are definitely possible futures in which we continue to operate alongside advancing technology, especially if we can form a mutually beneficial symbiosis with a coming sentience.

gm I agree the conclusion you draw seem likely but I don’t think it means HS have to vanish complexity like previous homo groups, if some left now then things could continue here while HSs lived happily on in HS ways on other planets beyond the area of interest to our successors
