Interested in all things underwater. Joined the mailing list, is there any material explaining what you are trying to do / how you are approaching it? Have a lot of very respectable people involved from your website but admittedly I didn’t see anything that made it clear to me what’s being built

We are building an open platform to quantify marine biodiversity using full metagenome analysis (ie we can see what organisms are living in an area, their relative abundance, and gain insights into their metabolic health). From that we can estimate fisheries and carbon outputs among other things
