✨Polygon Converts MATIC to $POL⤵️ Polygon developers have converted MATIC tokens to POL, which will now serve as the native gas and staking token on the Polygon PoS chain. Existing MATIC holders on Polygon PoS need not take any action, while those on Ethereum, Polygon zkEVM, or centralized exchanges must use a migration contract to convert to POL.
