- i think direct cash payments to people in my local community
- create affordable housing (like run it at cost)
- use $ to influence local politics and make my city objectively better

A close friend of mine had a big exit and immediately turned his attention to affordable housing in his community (Santa Cruz). He’s having success but the regulations around housing in CA are pretty crazy and holding him back.

these are decent ideas, heartening that you would reply

i've thought about a lot of big problems a lot and feel like i would invest in mental health and critical thinking education projects

improvement in those areas leads to so many knock-on effects

as does the neglect of those things
