I am feeling very uncertain about the future of crypto currency and web3.

just wrote the most bearish two pages i've ever written to try to explain haha

a bit complex and I need to sit on it but high level:

- for a while, the meme was that consumer and institutional onboarding would happen when the tech was good
- tech got good, we have the friendliest regulatory possible
- but most people hold a negative view of crypto, or see it purely as a place to trade coins and gamble, or get scammed

so we built all this good, cool stuff, but is that actually anything anyone cares about, wants to be part of? or is it just early adopter fluff? are we going to build anything that's _significantly_ better and gets PMF?

or is it just bitcoin, stablecoins, and RWAs? and the rest of the stuff is just hobbyist tech?

i care about it deeply, and i think the financial parts of crypto get usage, but i don't know about any of the rest right now. and so questioning my role within it - i want to be in crypto, but not sure that betting my whole career on it makes as much sense anymore.
