if you believe AGI is happening in the next 3 years, the same White House that will be handling that is the one putting 30% tariffs on every country

if it's actually real it won't matter one way or another

I think there’s actually a lot of variance in what happens with AGI depending on how governments interact with it

ie if the US govt does nothing and lets a country like China get ahead and develop it first, probably not great

The main goal is to be faster than them which doesn’t happen if the US doesn’t prioritize it the way China does

I’m not sure what that us can do to stop china from doing what they want here
