Standing up for what you believe in does not mean disowning your friends who think differently from you

curious if there's any polling on how diff demographics feel about "not associating with people who think differently from you"

it feels very gen z

on one hand, politics isn't everything. but how do you reconcile being friends with someone who likes someone you think is really an awful person (regardless of politics)?

I think not associating with someone because of their political views is incredibly wack. 

We will look back at our generation as the cringiest, uptight, most boomer generation of all

What do you think of someone who is gay not wanting to associate with a friend who is against gay marriage?

Makes sense. I’d get someone not wanting to associate with someone directly against a core piece of their identity. 

Not associating because you’re Trump and I’m Kamala is silly is what I’m saying. Why can’t we just vibe without talking or being triggered about politics
