increasingly accepting that most of the meaning in my life will not come from work

more than anything I’m looking forward to introducing more balance to life

pursuing true hobbies, spending lots of time with great friends, exploring passions

work is part of that but it doesn’t solve everything

Modern society values the wrong things indeed. End goal is to live a meaningful and happy life, it can’t be the case by attaching your « self » to work. I recommend you to read How to think like a monk!
