what's needed to get a proper listing on coingecko and coinmarketcap?

I thought higher is already tracked by coingecko. Was trending in the biggest gainers yesterday

CoinMarketCap has an application but then you have to pay to “expedite” it (I applied months ago and still nothing, so maybe I need to pay
