I’m starting to feel like NFTs make a big comeback They are more fun than memecoins and build stronger communities But memecoins are better for a more passive approach and capture more owners / mindshare

Main realization: if an NFT price goes down you still have something. Memecoin price goes to 0 and you have actually nothing

There is more liquidity with meme coins. I can own 10$ of fartcoin but I couldn't afford a milady. Now I have some $cult and am exposed to the ecosystem in some ways.

Unique pieces are worth something. It makes sense to use them as Identity. What might fuel a short run is that NFT collections with 5K or 10k unique pieces are even better for 50 insiders to "control" aka pump but liquidity is shit and I wouldn't recommend any normal guy getting them anymore except for collecting. The Bad Kids community did well as face for the cosmos ecosystem and managed to build some shared identity & get various airdrops. Some Projects have shown that they can issue a second, lower cost NFT collection to onboard more people but I haven't seen real community growth from this kind of inflation. It was rather an airdrop to existing holders. Same happened when you airdropped coins after NFTs. >> So, I prefer coins. And NFTs for the community to build better identity & belonging.

Have you ever thought about this relating to music? I’ve been wondering if nfts or coins would be better for songs. Leaning towards coins rn

I think Marc mentioned SEC killing nft market. With the election it would make sense for nfts to come back if that was the case.

yeah, i get that! NFTs are definitely more engaging and community-driven, which makes them a lot of fun. they have a stronger sense of belonging. memecoins, though, have the advantage of a more passive appeal and wider reach, grabbing attention and owners with ease. both have their place!
