curious if there's any polling on how diff demographics feel about "not associating with people who think differently from you" it feels very gen z on one hand, politics isn't everything. but how do you reconcile being friends with someone who likes someone you think is really an awful person (regardless of politics)?

it became a whole lot easier to do once people stopped having kids. when everybody’s more interconnected you don’t see a culture of writing people off as much.

Yeah probably that + more people moving and living in new places, less stability + more people living near people who have different opinions Maybe the internet also made it easier to discover new political opinions that differ from your community’s
