we will see everything we grew up with become vintage

yes for 90% of people interacting with vinyl it was part of that trend and stayed to some extent

I’m sure the 10% audiophiles  will probably stick to their preferences though

retro tech will have some trendy moments but i don’t think any will have the staying power like vinyl 

I think of these more like trendy fashion accessories for social signaling and most of these trends cycle through pretty fast
